Our Specially Adapted Vehicles

We have a number of specially adapted Fiat difficulty in transferring from wheelchair to seat.

These vehicles are fitted with electric winches, and have high roofs to enable us to carry all types and sizes of wheelchair. Engineered and tested to the highest standards, these vehicles ensure maximum comfort and safety.

Our Passenger Assistants

As a long established Local Authority contractor, Jimac are able to provide experienced CRB cleared Passenger Assistants as and when required. Both Drivers and Passenger Assistants are knowledgeable and caring, and understand that they are there to assist, not to assume control.

Our Drivers

All of our drivers hold enhanced Criminal Records Bureau clearances, and are licensed by the Public Carriage Office. They have received training in managing and effective securing of wheelchairs.
